Fantasy Football Question of the Day 7/29

Starting July 25 until August 26 my friends Uly Velez, Josh Bede, and I will ask each other one fantasy football related question a day and give our individual answers to it. Feel free to check out my other fantasy football related posts on my blog, including questions from previous days. And if you have a question you would like us to answer just leave a comment below.

Name one player that you will be specifically targeting in your drafts this season.

Charles:
Kareem Hunt. I was really praying that the Eagles would take him in the 3rd round but the Chiefs jumped on him before the Eagles' selection. But it's no surprise that Andy Reid, the same guy who drafted Brian Westbrook and LeSean McCoy, pulled the trigger on him. Even though Spencer Ware might be penciled in as the starter right now, I fully expect Hunt to overtake him at some point this season, if not as early as Week 1. Hunt does everything well as a RB with his only negative being lack of speed, finishing the 40 yard dash with a time of 4.62 seconds at the combine. But he's got the vision, power, acceleration, quickness, and receiving skills to be a true feature back in Reid's offense, much like Westbrook, McCoy, and Jamaal Charles were. If you're in a regular redraft league with no Keepers then you can get Hunt at a cheap price or in one of the late rounds. But if you're in a keeper league I'd boost his value up a bit because he can prove to have great long term value.

Josh:
I am going to refrain from talking about a few guys in favor of my deep league and keeper league flyer Juju Smith-Schuster. With good size and being a hyper competitor most people would be excited to take a flyer on him coming out of the draft but he went to a team with tons of weapons. But the WR position in Pittsburgh is less clear than we think with Martavis Bryant not fully reinstated and always a mess up away from another suspension. In a keeper league Juju could be a steal, even if Martavis stays on the field next year. Martavis is an UFA next year and we all know Bell wants a lot of money so there's a chance next year Juju is their number 2 WR.

Uly:
Marshawn Lynch. With taking a year off, is he going to be more well rested or rusty? Something to think about, but the raiders didn't bring him back and trade for him just to sell tickets. They brought him in to mainly help in the redzone and add what they feel they were lacking in the run game. As I've said before I see him finishing top 3 in running back points and I can definitely see him putting up TD totals like Blount did last year.  Feed him some skittles and let him become beast mode!
