What has happened to the Eagles' RB position?

Duce Staley. Brian Westbrook. LeSean McCoy. From 1998 to 2014 those 3 were the franchise running backs for the Philadelphia Eagles. I started liking football when I was 8 years old and watched my first Super Bowl in 1995 when the 49ers defeated the Chargers in SBXXIX, but I didn't become a serious fan until about 2001. So as I started really becoming invested in the Eagles and saw their rise to become one of the better teams in the league during that time period, one of the staples of the team's success was having a go-to feature RB. Duce was a very solid and reliable guy for Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb in the early part of their tenure. He was a north-south runner with good hands. His versatility as a runner, receiver, and pass blocker established the mold of what a RB in Reid's West Coast offense should be. It's not surprising that since being brought in as a coaching intern in 2010 he's been able to become a mainstay on the coaching staff, current

Rookie RB Outlook After Week 1

It goes without saying that there was a lot of hype about the 2017 RB draft class. I'm always invested in RBs, and when draft time comes around I pay a lot of attention to that position. This year there were definitely a lot more RBs that I liked than previous years. and many analysts were proclaiming that this could go down as the best RB class in NFL history. If Week 1 of the season is any indication then this class is on its way to live up to the hype. It's still tough to exactly tell how the rest of the season will play out with each player. Overreacting to Week 1 performances is something that we all tend to do sometimes. But since the fantasy football season is shorter than the actual football season, owners like you and me need to get a handle of what to do with these players sooner rather than later. Which rookies should you start? Which ones should you cut bait with? Which ones should you stash on you bench and wait for them to have the opportunity to break out? The

My annual, completely wrong, and irrelevant NFL predictions!

I’ve been making these predictions for the past few years, and if there’s one thing I know is that a good portion of it is going to end up being incorrect. But it is fun to do and it’s hilarious having people comment with their differing opinions and how outrageously stupid and wrong I am, especially when it comes to the NFC East (looking at you, my Cowboys fan friends). Since I do believe the East will be the toughest and tightest division this season, I will put my predicted records for all 4 teams to show just how close they will be with each other. But I won’t be doing records for the rest of the divisions, just standings as well as playoff matchups and awards.       NFC East Philadelphia Eagles, 10-6 Dallas Cowboys, 10-6 New York Giants, 9-7 Washington Redskins, 7-9 NFC West Seattle Seahawks Arizona Cardinals San Francisco 49ers Los Angeles Rams NFC North Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings Detroit Lions Chicago Bears
