Disney's "Hercules" Live-Action Remake: Fan Cast

Image
15 Actors (plus 1 vocalist) who would be perfect fits for the cats of the new live-action "Hercules" remake by Disney. Hercules has always been my favorite Disney movie ever since the first time I watched it, and it always will be. So, you can imagine my excitement over the news that a live-action remake of the film is in the works with the Russo Brothers directing. It may be irrelevant, but I had to do my fan cast for the film. It was a tough process, considering how picky and selective I am over who will be playing these characters. Each of them has certain traits that must be portrayed correctly, so each selection has been well thought out. At the same time, this is not to say that other actors wouldn’t do these roles justice. I’m someone who emphasizes watching a film first before reaching a final judgment on anyone. I’m sure there are plenty of actors who would do very well playing the characters in “Hercules”, whether they’re household names or up-and-comin

Jay Ajayi: Week 16 Film Breakdown

Image
I loved the trade for Jay Ajayi. Whereas some people thought he was a little overrated and just a one-year wonder, I saw a really good talent that was stuck on a bad team. My expectations for him are pretty high, not only for this season but for the next few as well. Each week I will be examining each of his snaps and will break down all of the ones I find significant. I’ll be looking at not only his runs but how he does in the passing game as a receiver and a blocker as well. Week 16 vs Oakland Raiders Jay Ajayi played 28 snaps (41.2%) while getting 16 total touches. It wasn’t his best game, but he was able to reach the end zone for the 2nd time as a Philadelphia Eagle. 1st quarter, 9:07 mark, 1st & 10 at Phi 42 On last week’s breakdown I talked about how Ajayi does a good job of running parallel to the line of scrimmage on designed outside runs before making his cut upfield, and this play is another example of that. On this outside zone run to the left side he

Week 15 @ NY Giants Although Jay Ajayi once again got the majority of snaps amongst the Eagles’ RBs against the Giants, he only had 14 total touches. By comparison, the rest of the Eagles RBs together logged in 14 touches as well. Ajayi received exactly half of the RB touches overall, but it can/should/will be argued that he should have gotten more. 1st Quarter, 7:12 mark, 1st & 10 at NYG 41 Center Jason Kelce (#62) has not only been one of the best centers in the league this season but one

Week 14 @ Los Angeles Rams Jay Ajayi once again led all Eagles RBs in snaps (43; 47.3%) and touches (16) in what was without a doubt his best game as an Eagle so far. 1st Quarter, 12:22 mark, 2nd & 10 from LA 47 With the Eagles already down 7-0, Ajayi’s first run helped set the tempo and attitude for the offense’s answer back. On a counter run to the weak side of the formation, Ajayi presses the line before following Brent Celek’s (#87) lead block. Other weeks we might have seen him cont

Instead of having numerous pictures following each piece of analysis, I’m going to provide a 2nd video of the same play but in slow-motion and with pauses at necessary points. Week 13 @ Seattle Seahawks For the first time since joining the team, Jay Ajayi led all Eagles RBs in snaps (31, 41.3%) against the Seahawks. Also, we saw Ajayi’s role expand as he was split out as a wide receiver at one point in the game. 2nd Quar
